About Mandarin House Restaurant
Located at 3201 State Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, Mandarin House Restaurant operates as a chinese restaurant serving Cuyahoga Falls in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Cuyahoga Falls; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Ohio are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 12β8:30 pm. It is closed on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (330) 929-8157. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is atmandarinhouse.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Cuyahoga Falls is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cuyahoga Falls follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I haven't ate here in years. It's a shame I almost forgot about this gem. I stopped in for a late lunch..... and it was even better than I remembered. I ordered the pecan beef and it was delicious! It's a shame that it seems there are not many people aware of this place. I was the only customer. Great food, very clean, and nice environment. If you're on the fence I recommend giving it a try.

Food was awful. None of us could eat more than a couple bites each of our food. General Tsos made with plum sauce? Beef that looked gray and a pepper chicken dish that looked like you asked OpenAI to generate you some food. Our tea did not taste like a black tea or a green tea, but had color and some sort of odd flavor. I don't know if they've cut margins on ingredients or if a particular chef did not care this evening, but we had an awful time. The owner came out and blamed the server when he did his job incredibly well, can't blame him for food that is completely inedible. It's not the servers fault, because this was NOT FOOD

Iβve been eating at Mandarin House my whole life. It essentially formed the very idea of what Chinese food was to me as a kid. One thing is for certain they have the best egg rolls of any place Iβve ever been to. The pork is amazing and it is seasoned perfectly. The vegetables are always crisp and flavorful. The two entrees I always get are either the sweet and sour chicken (which is unlike anyone elseβs Iβve ever had) or the Mandarin chicken. The wonton soup is also a great go to. Iβve enjoyed this restaurant for 40 years and the same owner, the same hostess, and one of the same waitresses is still there. I have so many fond and treasured memories spent eating here over the years.

Looks old from the outside and the decor. 100% worth the experience. The pot stickers for an app were awesome they are crispy and unlike any I have had before 8/10. The honey walnut shrip was absolutely outstanding best I have ever had!! Rice, broccoli, and shrimp were cooked perfectly! That was 9/10. For dessert, I had the fried pineapple. It was unique as I have never had it before. 1 pineapple ring deep fried in a similar batter to an elephant ear. I'd give the dessert 7/10. The waitress was very nice ans attentive, my drink never went dry. Highly recommend this place! I will be back often.

The food is Ok and my experience is limited to a few times while I do know others who swear by this location. The decor is lovely. The fried rice contained no vegetables or egg, just a light dose of soy sauce. The shrimp were tiny. I was expecting something more like what you get from House of Hunan or Cilantro because the prices are the same and menus appear similar, but itβs not. I think this place has the potential overhaul itβs menu to upgrade past a low quality Chinese takeout restaurant with nice decor.
